A bit of a get together at The Clothiers Arms, Stocksmoor, Huddersfield, between 5 - 7pm on Saturday 9th July 2011. There will be Hot Beef Sandwhiches (Sop Supper) available between these times (for a fee of course).
There will be a series of 30+ caches published on the day, starting and finishing at The Clothiers Arms. There is Stocksmoor railway station right next door to the pub, so no excuse for those that use public transport. Stocksmoor railway station is situated on the Huddersfield to Sheffield line, with trains running every half hour until about 10.00pm, but please check times before travelling by train. The new series is 6 miles through some beautiful country side and should take between 3 - 4 hours. Parking is available in
the spacious car park at the pub, please use the top car park. The general idea is that you could turn up at around mid day, do the new series then attend the event. Kids are welcome, and there is a small play area outside. Plenty of tables outside for those with dogs. There will be a raffle with any profits going towards a Charity fund. This will also resolve the FTF issue. If anyone has any old unwanted gifts that they would like to donate to the charity raffle, please contact me with details. Clothiers are donating a meal for 2.
