ArcherDragoon: Well...this one was in worse shape than I had hoped to see...archiving and working on a new replacement. Will need to be very different than this current hide...

Thanks to all that searched,

Geocache Description:

Norse Mythology: Loki

Loki, the Trickster, challenges the structure and order of the Gods, but is necessary in bringing about needed change. He is also known as the god of Fire. Neither an Aesir or a Vanir, he is of the race of Ettins (Elementals) and thus possesses some daemonic qualities. He is both a helper and a foe of the Aesir; he gets them out of predicaments, but spawns the worst monsters ever seen on the face of the Earth: the Fenris Wolf and Jormurgandr, the Midgard Wyrm. His other children include the goddess Hel (Hella, Holle), and Sleipnir, Odin's 8-legged horse; these beings are at least benign, if not somewhat terrifying to behold.

First Time Seeking a Letterbox Hybrid???
Please Note: As this is a Letterbox Hybrid, a stamp and ink pad are present, please leave them in the cache as they are not trade items!!!

Why here and why Loki???
Well, you see, Loki is a bit of a trickster...and while this cache should be easy to find once you reach the location...the way to the cache can be tricky!!! One fairly easy way and multiple more difficult ways...the most difficult of which is the direct route. The terrain rating is for that direct route. So, while the payoff in finding the cache is immediate (as Loki prefers his payouts to be), you will need to think like a trickster and observe the environment before heading to the cache if you want to "outsmart" Loki and find the way to the cache with minimal effort!!!

The second reason...while the objective may have been declared...(GC2XHX1: Mission Accomplished)...the information was incomplete...and Loki stepped in!!!
