Geocache Description:

A micro located at the end of the new Greenway trail on old 301 hwy.

If You have ever passed this area and seen the old road and bridge and wondered whats over there, nows your chance to find out. The old swing bridge you will see at the end of the trail was erected in 1938 and is no longer in use.
Thanks to the Lower Savannah River Alliance there is a new greenway trail here. Right now it is a 2.8 mile paved trail with plans to expand it further.The closest parking area will give you a trip one way of a little over a mile. Please start at the parking coordinates and walk/bike your way to the cache. Do not try and attempt to retreive this cache by any other means other than the greenway. Bushwacking to the cache would be trepassing and futile, because you would never be able to reach it.
The trail is paved and flat and shaded half of the way. Please be cautious of wildlife and give them the right of way.
You will be looking for a match container hidden at the end of the trail.
