Geocache Description:

Waseley Hills Country Park covers 150 acres of pasture and woodland. The hills are home to many insects and animals, not least rabbits which can be seen in abundance, especially on spring and summer evenings. Waseley Hills is an area of natural beauty with panoramic views across several counties on the higher ground.

There are 2 trails and various paths which interlink throughout the area. The walk chosen for this series of 10 caches, follows the Rabbit Trail, a 3 mile circular walk. Parts of the walk may not be buggy friendly as some paths are uneven or narrow.

There are toilet facilities and a visitors centre providing information, meals and refreshments. An adventure playground (for children up to 13yrs of age) and picnic tables are also close to this end of the park. Take time to read the information in the visitors centre and on the plaques along the walk, which tell of the unique geology and history of the area.

The Rabbit Trail begins by turning right near the visitors centre and north car park. Parking coordinates are at N52 24.112 W002 02.555 or sat nav postcode B45 9AT.

All the caches in the series are named after famous rabbits and follow the Rabbit Trail, which is well signed. The caches have been placed with the kind permission of Worcestershire County Council.
