At the close of the Lehigh Valley Geocachers' CITO Event (May, 2011), one of the participants, an immigrant from another country, shared how excited he was to unite with other volunteers who had gathered to remove trash in our local community. He mentioned that an event like CITO would not happen in his native country because of "mob" influence and control. He closed by proclaiming that America truly is a great country and how proud he was to live here.
It's easy for us to forget that most of the world does NOT live with the freedoms we Americans take for granted. This cache has been placed to say, "Thank you," for the poignant reminder, for Pino's patriotic perspective.
