Geocache Description:

This is at the end of the road and begins the trail into the Conservatory...Readings were hard to get because of tree cover. Ammo box with all the regular stuff in it.

This series the 12 Apostles is a great drive in the Spring, Summer or Fall from the McCloud Reservoir via 7 miles of dirt road along the McCloud River and ends up at the McCloud Fish Conservatory.

Each cache is named after one of the 12 original Apostles of Jesus Christ. This is John the brother of James called the "Sons of Thunder".
