Kabasan Shrine
A main shrine of Kabasan shrine is enshrined on the summit of Mt. Kaba (Kabasan). There is a front shrine in the north of the summit. Furthermore, front shrines are located at the east and west of the mountain foot. I placed a cache at the western front shrine whose name is "Makabe-haiden (Satomiya)" in Japanese.
You can obtain a guide leaf of the Kabasan shrine written in Japanese from the front shrine. According to the guide leaf, this shrine has been started by Prince Yamatotakeru who built a shrine on the summit about two thousands years ago. After that, this has been prospered as the shrine to pray for victory. In addition, this has been also known as the place of ascetic practices.
There is a parking lot. You should better to ask the Makabe-haiden for parking a car to go up Mt. Kaba when you come here by your own car. I have never refused the parking. If you go on a hike to Mt. Kaba and walk around there, you can enjoy hunting for various size caches ranges from Micro to Large. Almost all are owned by tenchindon-san. I would like to pay tribute to tenchindon-san's expensive works.

加波山神社
加波山山頂に本殿が鎮座し、その北方に拝殿があります。また東西の両山麓にもそれぞれ里宮があります。このキャッシュは西側の真壁拝殿に設置しました。
社務所で加波山神社のガイドをもらえます。それによると、約二千年前に日本武尊が加波山に登り社殿を建てたのが始まりとされています。その後も戦勝祈願の神社として栄えてきました。一方、山伏・修験者の道場・霊場としても知られています。
真壁拝殿には駐車場があります。利用する場合は拝殿に一言お声がけしてください。ここから加波山周辺めぐりをされますと、MicroサイズからLargeサイズまでさまざまな大きさのキャッシュハントを楽しむことができるかと思います。ほとんどはtenchindonさんのキャッシュで、氏の多大な労力に敬意を表します。
