Being fans of Australian music we decided to create a series in and around Canberra that celebrates "Oz Rock". Each cache is connected (however abstractly) to an Australian made song, band, artist, album or famous lyric.
We are still building this series so stay tuned for new caches in the OZ Rock series.
==Radio Birdman==
"Radio Birdman was one of the first punk bands in Australia along with The Saints. Deniz Tek and Rob Younger formed the group in Sydney, Australia in 1974. The group influenced the work of many successful, mainstream bands, and is now considered to be one of the most crucial bands to Australia's musical growth, but their main legacy was their towering influence over Australian indie rock in the 1980s."

==The Cache==
Placed aptly near the ABC "RADIO" station. Which is probably a good place as Triple J (Double J back in the day before FM) would've been the only non-community radio station to air this great Aussie band.
You're looking for a cleverly placed Bison.
We moved it to a new location where the fauna shouldn't be as effected by cachers. Some stealth is still required.
