Shelby Trail Park in Simpsonville Kentucky opened in July of 2010 after officially being donated by Dr. Roger and Dianee Shott. The park is just short of 400 acres and is accessible for both walking and equestrian trails. Park hours are from 7am to sunset, with equestrian riding hours that differ. Please be respectful of the area, and enjoy the many wonderful trails and remember that this is a nature preserve so cache in and trash out! Parking is available upon entering the park, maps of trails also available. There is no charge for hikers, only for those who choose to ride horses.
