Welcome to Scott County, VA! The Scott County Tourism Committee is
placing caches throughout the county to highlight certain points of
interest and historical sites. We hope that you'll enjoy these
caches. Once you have found and logged at least 10 caches hidden by
Scott County Tourism you can e-mail us with your name and address
and we'll mail you a special prize. For this hunt you'll be
looking for a non-traditional container.
McGyver has packed his bags and he's off to camp. One thing about
it, he's staying at a very old camp with lots of history. Believe
it or not there is a swimming pool here, but I'm not sure McGyver
even likes to swim.
This is a replacement cache to "Going Wireless At Camp". If you had
already found that cache, come back for this one and log again.
This is a replacement cache since the other one got washed away in
the flood, so no FTF on this one. McGyver was smart and placed his
bag a little higher than where the last cache was placed.
We would also like to thank BearandBird from Indiana for this
geocache container. This is a spin off cache from thier "McGyver
Bag" cache (GC252G2) which is located in thier hometown.
The camp can be muggle central at certain times so use stealth if
necessary. Don't let McGyver catch you going through his bag, he
might break your pencil! Please replace the cache exactly as you
found it. Enjoy the hunt and Happy Caching!
