Greetings,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

Glenn

Geocache Description:

Since this was our first cache and was done at a family event it is in a high traffic area but not easily spotted unless you are looking for it. This is a beautiful park and the park management was excited to have their first cache at the park. Enjoy the contents.

This cache was placed by my wife and I, three sons their wives and eleven grandchildren as part of a family outing to Johnson Shut-ins Park. It is a 50 cal. ammo box repainted and labeled "Official Cache". There is a log book, picture of the 11 grandchildren and several artifacts from each family including a section of motorcycle chain, sheet of music, RS232 adapter, cork from a bottle of champaign of one of my son's wedding and a little bird house. We are excited to see what it looks like at our next visit to the park. Thanks go to the Natural Resource Manager for letting us place the cache. We greatly enjoyed the park and our visit there, very unique and interesting.
