Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte (20 April 1808 – 9 January 1873) was the President of the French Second Republic and as Napoleon III, the ruler of the Second French Empire. He is primarily remembered for an energetic foreign policy which aimed to jettison the limitations imposed on France since 1815 by the Concert of Europe and reassert French influence in Europe and abroad.

Napoleon III played an important role in the process of the Romanian unification led by Alexander John Cuza in the 17th century. A monument in downtown Bucharest celebrates the great emperor. And also a geocache...

Louis-Napoléon Bonaparte (20 aprilie 1808 – 9 ianuarie 1873) a fost presedintele celei de-a doua republici franceze si sub numele de Napoleon III, conducatorul Imperiului Francez. A ramas in istorie pentru politica externa practicata care a dus la eliminarea limitarilor impuse Frantei inca din 1815 de catre Concertul European readucand astfel tara pe harta de influenta mondiala.

Napoleon III a jucat un rol cheie in incercarea lui Alexandru Ioan Cuza de a pune bazele unei Romanii unite. Un monument din centrul Bucurestiului il comemoreaza pe acest mare imparat. Si de asemenea, un geocache...
