This is the second in a series of toy themed caches that I've made
so I hope you enjoy it as much as I've enjoyed creating it. Please
don't be intimidated by the following instructions/description, it
really is simple to assemble (I hope LOL). I'm anticipating around
10-30 minutes for you to assemble this thing depending upon your
level of puzzle mojo. Also, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE SURE TO PUT ALL
PIECES BACK IN THE CONTAINER FOR THOSE FOLLOWING YOU. Thanks and
have fun!
This cache will hopefully have you scratching your head as well as
enjoying the memories that you may have in your childhood when you
played with these things. I know I did. Anyway, you'll be
assembling a small house that looks like the posted pictures here
(don't worry, I've also included the pictures with the logs to
assemble in the woods). I've tried to make this as painless as
humanly possible but I'm sure there will be some who it frustrates
to no end....patience is a virtue. In the pictures, hopefully
you'll see some keys to aligning the logs correctly in that there
are color bands on the logs that need to be in alignment in order
to obtain the final coordinates. There are six different colors
(Green, White, Black, Gold, Purple, and plain wood). You'll also
notice there are letters from A-E. Of course A goes on the bottom.
When you get all the colors to align and the log cabin built you
will notice there will be sets of coordinates on each END of the
home (looking from the front N on the left W on the right). You'll
need to read them left to right (example. Top Log (E)Left, Top Log
(E)Right, Second Log (D)down Left, Second Log (D)down Right,
.....Bottom log (A)left, Bottom log (A)Right) These will be the
coordinates to the final cache and logs (generous swag as well so
be sure to bring something good with you to trade)
Please try to keep all the pieces together and back in the ziplock
when you are finished. I've also included a small mat for you to
spread out the pieces a little while sorting out what goes where.
Best thing I can say is to lay the ammo can on it's side and
assemble the homestead on it. Good Luck!
