The cache is located at the summit of Unzen Fugen-dake in Unzen-Amakusa National Park.
Unzendake is volcanoes in the Shimabara Peninsula central part. Around Fugen-dake, there are Heisei-Shinzan, Kunimi-dake, Myoken-dake. The highest peak is Heisei –Shinzan, Fugen-dake is the second highest mountain in Nagasaki, 1359m.
This cache hides close to the first order triangulation point of the summit of Fugen-dake.

このキャッシュは、雲仙天草国立公園の雲仙普賢岳山頂にあります。
雲仙岳は長崎県の島原半島中央部にある火山で、普賢岳・国見岳・妙見岳の三峰と、野岳・九千部岳・矢岳・高岩山・絹笠山の五岳からなる山体の総称です。平成２年～平成７年の火山活動で形成された平成新山が最高峰ですが、平成新山は現在もまだ入山が禁止されています。普賢岳・国見岳・妙見岳の三峰を巡るトレッキングコースは、春のミヤマキリシマ、秋の紅葉、冬の霧氷など、四季折々の自然を楽しむことができます。普賢岳山頂からは、日本で最も新しいこの平成新山を正面にみることができます。
