With the Ira Spring trail and cache up the road, here is one for his brother Bob.
When I was beginning to look for places to hike, the guide books had photos by Bob and Ira Spring. The beautiful photos of wonderful places just a hike away seduced me more than once to some place new. They captured images of places that I just had to go experience. Sometimes common places with beauty that can be overlooked unless, like here, you stop and enjoy.
So here is a cache for the other half of the two brothers who gave me and many others many reasons to head into the wood, or the meadows, or any place wild.
Cache is just a step over the edge.
