Geocache Description:

This is the last in a series of six geocache's placed along the route of a disused railway embankment between the town of Didcot and village of Upton.

This is a micro cache so please bring your own pen/pencil!

It is about 1.2 miles (1.93km) in total, so a trip up and back (about 2.5miles) at a good pace and stopping for caches should take about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.

The disused railway embankment has since been converted into a public foot/cycle path. This raised embankment can be access as several points along its length, i have added suggested parking (although limited) at :-

Mobray Road, Didcot (please respect the residents house, driveways)

Main Road, East Hagbourne (short walk on B road, no path)

Upton Recreational Ground

You get an excellent view of surrounding countryside along the whole length of the path, look out for the wooden sculptures and imaginative seating spots.

There is steep grassy banks on both sides of footpath, please do not allow young children to go near the edges.
