BFLing in the Glen Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Rock_Harder: I went to replace this cacne, but checked on the firetacks, and out of 50 firetacks placed, I could only find 2. Since something fishy is going on here, I am not replacing this cache.

Geocache Description:

This is for all of you BFLers around and I know there are more and more of you, so please enjoy!

I have wanted to put out a night-time only cache since I helped Young King Cole set one up at GHAGAFAP last year.

The biggest question was where and how epic should it be?

The answer: The Niagara Glen and very epic!

This night-time only cache will require a good flashlight, good hiking boots, about an hour (maybe more) and no sun!

I have placed about 55 firetacks along almost 1 km (5/8 mile for you south of the border) of the trail in the Niagara Glen. Please pay attention to where you are stepping, I don't want anyone to get hurt down there.

WARNING! This cache is not meant to be difficult or excruciatingly tough on your body, but just to show you a different aspect of caching and one that a lot of people have fun with!

The posted co-ordinates are where you shall start your epic adventure. Once there, turn on your flashlights (if they're not yet on) and walk along the trail with the firetacks "lighting" your way. There may be some distance between the tacks, but just remember to stay on the trail, as the tacks will lead you along.

As you follow the firetacks, near the end of this journey, you will eventually be taken to a spot where you will start to see many firetacks close together. Groupings of 3 or 4 firetacks in close proximity to each other tells you that you are nearing the end.
The clustering of firetacks will take you to a dead end along a main trail and that is where you should start using your geosenses. Remember, the cache is larger than a large, 5 gallon container, but it is camo'd, but you should be able to find it easily.

Please remember to have fun and play fair and most of all, happy caching!
