9am - 10am CITO / 10am - 11:30am Mingling / 11:30am - 1:30pm Lunch


Summer is here and it's time, once again, for some geo-fellowship with your friends in the Greater Charlotte Geocaching Club. We are hosting a hot dog lunch at 11:30am-1:30pm on Saturday, July 16th at Frank Liske Park in Cabarrus County. We'll have a few items to give away as usual, but the main focus for our time together will be story-telling and general camaraderie. We will also be doing a little CITO (Cache In Trash Out) in the park to help pick up any litter mistakenly left behind by others between 9am and 10am with socializing between 10am and 11:30am.

There is always great fun when our group comes together so make plans to come and see old friends and make new ones. It's been a great year thus far with many geocache hunts as well as fantastic new caches and we would love to hear about your experiences. Please post 'Will Attend' and let us know how many folks in your group will attend. We're looking forward to seeing you there as the GCGC visits a great park in Cabarrus County!

We will be serving hot dogs and drinks for lunch but please feel free to bring your favorite side dish to contribute. We will be located in the upper level of the main barn (so we can enjoy a little A/C during lunch) but feel free to explore the park during your visit.

If you would like to participate, bring a cache container of your choosing (the more unusual the better) that you would like another cacher to turn into a cache. After gathering the containers, we'll randomly pass them back out to those that participated to be made used in a cache of their choosing!
