Give a Dog a Bone Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

42below: Circumstances have changed and the block where Flint rests has been sold, so I am archiving this cache. Was waiting for Mr Iwik- Flints mate- to remember to log this cache before I did so. Rest easy Flint, our gorgous faithful friend- hope the new owners don't disturb you too much.

Geocache Description:

A cache for dog lovers.

Give a Dog a Bone
This cache is for all of us who have had a dog as part of their life. As a friend, companion, pair of eyes or ears, protector (when walking in the dark or home alone!) and indeed much loved family member- whether those dogs are still with us or no longer of this earth. It’s a Thank You for the hours of pleasure and unconditional friendship they do or have given us. Having a pet to pat and play with has been found to help reduce high blood pressure. Dogs can also be good for our waist lines, getting us up off our butts and outdoors walking- rather like Geocaching- and indeed can be a useful decoy or distraction if needed, when caching!

The theme of this cache is of course dogs- and the swaps are dog related so if swapping please try and keep to the theme. It is near the final resting place of our beautiful 12 year old Border Collie Flint, so say hello to him and remember your faithful four legged friends when you visit this cache.

Should you find a blue Geocoupe with trailer & someone on a ride on mowing the "Parking Space" (aka vacant block), feel free to find the cache & say Hi to me!

Cardz claimed the FTF Flag, for the first to find Give a Dog a Bone.
