Geocache Description:

“PT” is Army-speak for “Physical Training.” In geocaching terms, it means “Power Trial,” a series of geocaches slung together that you can grab in one shot. Like one prolific geocacher has stated numerous times, there’s nothing better than jumping out of your vehicle, exploring a new area while hitting a bunch of caches before you have to jump back IN your vehicle.

The Woodland PT series lies along a trail off Highway 64 just north of Bergland. It ascends a ridge, ending in a scenic overlook of the Ottawa National Forest, and will be about a 2.5 mile round trip. I’d bring bug dope, as the Michigan State Bird is plentiful in these parts.

Be sure to write down each of the letter = number combinations underneath the cache lids, which put together lead to the Ottawa Forest PT Final Cache.
