georma144: Archivacia kesky.

Dakujeme vsetkym poctivym lustitelom a ohladuplnym hladacom za navstevu kesky, niektorym nalezcom za ich kladne logy a darcom za udelenych 9 bodov oblubenosti (FP; 6%), ktorymi ocenili nasu snahu.

Krabicka bola stiahnuta z terenu. Keska sa nachadzala na suradniciach N 48°53.655 E 018°02.605.

Pre poriadok, strucne vysvetlenie dovodov zrusenia kesiek (ak by to niekoho zaujimalo):

Revieweri zablokovali publikovanie nasej dlho pripravovanej novej kesky (letterboxu), na ktorej nam velmi zalezalo - dovodom mala byt byrokraticka zalezitost, ktora by vsak nikoho ineho v nicom neposkodzovala a neobmedzovala.
- u hladacov kesiek coraz vyraznejsie prevlada konzumny sposob „hrania“ geocachingu (zhrnanie bezvyznamnych bodov namiesto zazitkov, podvadzanie, nepoctivost a necestnost, tzv. „finalkarenie“, roznymi sposobmi pohrdanie pracou zakladatelov kesiek atd.), co uz nemienime dalej tolerovat a nutene podporovat vzhladom na chybajucu ochranu ownerov organizatormi hry
- nase pozitivne dojmy zo zalozenia kesiek a ich fungovania boli postupne prevysene tymi negativnymi, a to ma za nasledok stratu motivacie, pricom uz nevidime perspektivu zlepsenia tohto stavu.
(Nase rozhodnutie vzniklo po dlhodobejsej uvahe a zhodnoteni vsetkych okolnosti.)

Geocache Description:

Nenarocna multinka venovana svetoznamemu trencianskemu rodakovi. Keska sa nenachadza na uvedenych suradniciach!

JUDr. VOJTECH ZAMAROVSKY
bol vyznamny spisovatel, prekladatel, historik, cestovatel, popularizator historie a archeologie.

* ZIVOT A DIELO:

.....Narodil sa 5.10.1919 v Trencine. Pochadzal zo stareho zemianskeho rodu Zamarovskych, z rodiny kominarskeho majstra, cinovnika zivnostenskeho spolku a podnikatela. Vo svojom rodisku navstevoval zakladnu skolu a gymnazium, na ktorom odmaturoval v roku 1938. Nasledne dosiahol obchodne a pravnicke vysokoskolske vzdelanie.
Medzi najvyznamnejsie patria Pribinov kriz I.triedy, Zlate kruhy Slovenskeho olympijskeho vyboru, cestny titul Velvyslanec helenizmu (udeleny v roku 2006 prefekturou Aten za sirenie myslienok helenizmu v celej Europe), statne vyznamenanie Rad Ludovita Stura I.triedy (in memoriam v roku 2006 za mimoriadne vyznamne zasluhy o rozvoj kultury a sirenie dobreho mena Slovenska v zahranici).
.....Zil v stredoceskej obci Soutice a potom v Prahe.

* LITERARNA TVORBA:

.....Vojtech Zamarovsky napisal 14 knih, ktore boli prelozene do patnastich svetovych jazykov a vysli v celkovom naklade viac ako dva miliony vytlackov. Da sa rozdelit do niekolkych tematickych okruhov - historicky vyvoj jednotlivych civilizacii a narodov (najma starych Grekov), mytologia, klasicke staroveke literarne diela, architektonicke pamiatky:
1960 - „Za siedmimi divmi sveta“ (opis starovekych kultur a ich najvyznamnejsich pamiatok; doplnene vydanie vyslo v roku 1985)
1961 - „Za tajomstvom rise Chetitov“ (historia jedneho z prvych, najzahadnejsich a najmocnejsich narodov staroveku; pocta Bedrichovi Hroznemu, ktory rozlustil chetitske pismo; slovenska verzia vysla v roku 1963)
1962 - „Objavenie Troje“ (dejiny archeologickych vykopavok vedenych Heinrichom Schliemannom a vysvetlenie starogreckej epiky a mytologie)
1969 - „Bohovia a hrdinovia antickych baji“ (naucny slovnik antickej mytologie; doplnene vydanie vyslo v roku 1980)
1971 - „Dejiny pisane Rimom“ (historia Rimskej rise)
1974 - „Grecky zazrak“ (dejiny kultury a odkazu starovekeho Grecka)
1975 - „Gilgames“ (literarne spracovanie sumerskeho eposu)
1977 - „Ich Velicenstva Pyramidy“ (historia starovekeho Egypta)
1978 - „Vzkriesenie Olympie“ (vznik a priebeh davnovekych Olympijskych hier)
1981 - „Aeneas“ (spracovanie eposu od Vergilia Mara)
1986 - „Bohovia a krali stareho Egypta“ (encyklopedia egyptskych dejin a mytologie)
1987 - „Sinuhet“ (prerozpravanie klasickeho diela egyptskej literatury)
1992 - „Navrat do staroveku (Po stopach vlastnych knih)“ (autor mapuje svoje dielo; textovo-obrazova publikacia, ktorej zamerom je ukazat sirku a hlbku starovekych zakladov dnesnej europskej kultury a civilizacie)
.....V rokoch 1999 az 2004 vyslo suborne dielo Vojtecha Zamarovskeho v jednotnej uprave, bohato ilustrovane, doplnene mapkami a schemami.

* ZAMAROVSKY A TRENCIN:

.....Hoci zo svojho rodiska odisiel po druhej svetovej vojne a vacsinu aktivneho zivota prezil mimo neho, s Trencinom stale zostal uzko spaty nielen prostrednictvom priatelov, ale aj cez bohatu historiu mesta. V roku 1994 mu bol udeleny titul „Cestny obcan mesta Trencin“.
.....Spisovatelov rodny dom dodnes stoji v ulicke pod Trencianskym hradom.
Zaroven v sucasnosti prebieha priprava otvorenia Muzea V.Zamarovskeho, ktore bude sidlit v starobylej kurii v Zamarovciach nedaleko Trencina.

* Zamarovsky and Trencin:
Although he left his birthplace after WWII and most of his active life he spent outside, he was closely linked with the town all the time. In 1994 he was awarded the title "Honorary Citizen of the Trencin".
Writer‘s native house still stands in a small street below Trencin Castle. Since 1980, the private company with manufacturing workshop of pottery replicas is situated there. In 2005, bronze memorial plaque was placed on the house and a memorial room was created inside.
In 1997, the „Club of the Friends of Vojtech Zamarovsky“ was founded in Trencin. The Club helped to build the „Museum of Classical Antiquity“ in the city in 2001. The museum keeps a lot of copies of important Antiquity and Egyptian artifacts, writer’s library and several of his personal items. Museum tried to popularize history of the ancient world to the public, but since 2010 it has not a domicile...
Since 2007, the „Vojtech Zamarovsky Street“ is situated in Trencin but still no statue dedicated to this important person can be found in the town.
Update:
In December 2012, a bench as a work of art was placed near the birth house of V.Zamarovsky as part of the project „Benches of Trencin personalities“. >>>>> THE CACHE <<<<<
The cache is not at the posted coordinates!

STAGE ONE is at the crossroads under the castle, from where is an interesting view at Trencin Castle. When you are standing here and looking at the castle, one of the streets goes to the right side. You can find the name of this street on the white board with blue letters placed on the wall. You have to count all the letters on the board and you get (A) item.
(note: street = ulica)

STAGE TWO is the native house of Vojtech Zamarovsky.

On the pavement front of the house a white round mosaic is created - if you find out the picture on the mosaic, you can write the relevant value as (B) item:
the pyramid = 1, Greek inscription = 2, an open book = 3, man’s head = 4, mythological flying horse = 5.

On the house a bronze memorial plaque is placed. When you make the sum of all numerals written on it, you get two-digit number - (C) item.

To find (D) item, you must determine the current color of the house. It is a shade of:
yellow = 1, red = 2, blue = 3, green = 4, violet = 5.

You can find the FINAL, if you calculate the coordinates using the following formulas:
N 48°53.x
E 018°02.y
x = A*(B+C)-(D*A)+(B*C/D)
y = (A+B)*(C/D)+A-(B/C*5)+D

Caution:
On the route you’ll have problems with signal quality, you have to expect less precision of the GPS unit. It is better to use hints at the final location. Don’t move the cache to other places, please mask it carefully. Beware of the muggles. Please, don’t spoil in your logs.

(In May 2015, the cache was moved to a new hiding place and the size of the cache-box was slightly scaled down.)
