The cache is located at: N 46 AB.C1E W 089 FG.H6J (Note: I understand that "D" is unreadable and "I" is missing, so until I can get up there to replace them, I've put in the values for those two letters). If you want to find the cache, you have to find the rest of the Ottawa Forest PT Series. The letter/number combinations underneath each cache lid will lead to the final cache. “PT” is Army-speak for “Physical Training.” In geocaching terms, it means “Power Trial,” a series of geocaches slung together that you can grab in one shot. Like one prolific geocacher has stated numerous times, there’s nothing better than jumping out of your vehicle, exploring a new area while hitting a bunch of caches before you have to jump back IN your vehicle. The Woodland PT series lies along a trail off Highway 64 just north of Bergland. It ascends a ridge, ending in a scenic overlook of the Ottawa National Forest, and will be about a 2.5 mile round trip. I’d bring bug dope, as the Michigan State Bird is plentiful in these parts.
