Long pants and sneakers are recommended. The trail does have thistles and poison ivy. Trail goes AROUND the farmer's field, NOT IN it. No bushwhacking necessary.

Welcome to Alpaugh Farm on Highlands Trail
This geocache is placed in honor of the Alpaugh family who were dairy farmers on this land for over 50 years. Our children grew up hiking and hunting in the nearby woods.
Getting out into nature is so important for children. I wanted a hike for young people to be fun and rewarding, so this cache is kid-friendly.
A Geico gecko TB is also placed in the container as part of their “Find the Gecko" sweepstakes.
Wildlife is plentiful if you're patient and quiet. We've seen deer, turkeys, coyotes, foxes and bears.
This is my first cache to hide. Let me know how the co-ords are - lots of cover overhead.
