Geocache Description:

This is my second 'fortress' cache placed in the Springwood area.

This cache will take you down a pretty track behind Springwood shops. You can start either from the Fairy Dell track behind the car park, or from Picnic Glen at the bottom of Homedale Street.

Unfortunately, now that my sons are growing older, their teddy bears have been forced into more creative ways of amusing themselves through the long hours. It need not be said how shocked we were when we discovered this transgression. They have now been given a more private and remote location to wile away their hours together. This is the forbidden fortress, a place where all things denied to teddy bears may happen in private. My only advice is, when you get to the cache location, remember you are not a teddy bear, for this is a popular track, and human beings are not offered salubrious accommodation for such nefarious acts.

If you wish to visit the teddys in their fortress hideaway, you will need to find a way into their rock overhang. It might help if you take someone to give you a little shove in the rear, and since this is a very personal thing to do, I suggest you take someone you like. The cache isn't hard to find after that. Just remember that Mr Teddy likes tunnels that are dark and wet. You might get a little dirty in the process, so wear something appropriate! I will leave what is appropriate to your judgment.

This cache has no swaps to start with. Please do not remove the teddys from their home. If you are willing to, you may wish to leave them something suitable for their predilections, so they may wile away the hours with joy.

I hope you enjoy meeting the teddys and find this cache inspiring.
