Located on the Dean Settlement Road on the edge of Guysborough Co.
This is the first of 3 caches to commemorate a Pioneer in this community and widely known in many places far beyond this area. Ethel E MacLean,(MacQuarrie) 1894-1991 was a professional guide and hunter who was as good as any man in woodscraft or marksmanship. The cache is near the roadside and from that point you will see the main feature across the road.
