Short three stage puzzle cache on the Montana State University grounds. Placed by the 2012 Peaks & Potentials geocaching class.
Container just big enough for a log, be sure to bring your writing stick. Cache container is not located at the above coordinates.
Coordinates listed above for stage one will bring you to a nice quiet little area near Wilson Hall where the Peaks & Potentials class met. You will need to find the bronze plate. Use the information that you find there to take you to stage two. Again we want to show you another nice area of the MSU campus near our building. Here you will find another bronze plate that will give you information to where the mini is hidden.
This cache was put together by 15 middle schoolers and should be fairly easy. It is mid campus, be careful of where you park - nearby parking may be limited. There is some slight hill climbing to do depending on where you park, but fairly easy to do within 15-20 minutes.
STAGE 1: From the information you find on the bronze plate at the posted coordinates fill in the following information to give you the coordinates to stage 2.

A = add the digits to the fourth year shown. (ie: 2012 is 2+0+1+2= 5)
B = first digit to the last year shown. (ie: 2012 would be a 2)
C = last digit to the second year shown.
D = last digit to the fifth year shown.
E = last digit to the first year shown.
F = number of years that are on the bronze plate.
STAGE 2: Near here are two bronze plates... choose wisely or you might not find the hidden cache, hence the name "Xcellent Choice". Again you will need to fill in the following to find the hidden cache.
