The cache is located near the duckpond at cliffsend farm, the
area has seen the recent development of a housing estate, before
work started wessex archaelogy carried out a dig on the site with
some pretty impressive finds
Cliffs End Farm - the pit burial
In one Late Bronze Age pit archaeologists found the skeletons of
five people. The upper skeleton is an old man, with a child beside
him. The lower one is a teenager with his head on the skull of a
cow.
