The kids spent a lot of time in this park when they were young. Dad brought them here when it was time to take off the training wheels. There were swings, slides, sandbox, and a bench for the moms. Things are different now with the skateboard ramps and basketball court, but it's still our little neighborhood park. Hope you enjoy the cache.
In a sense, Levi does swing. The German term schwung means the horse is connected from front to back, he is loose, powerful, and supple with a lovely frame and a slight swing in his back. When Levi is truly connected and pushing powerfully from behind, his forehand lifts, he is supple and truly a joy to ride. However, when Levi is resistant, not warmed up, or too energetic to be supple, there will be no swing. Instead I will be riding a jarring pogo stick. So we all strive for the lovely feeling of schwung in dressage.
