This path is an old logging road that parallels the Pipeline Trail,
but at a higher elevation. The view at the cache location is better
than from the Pipeline because it is higher up the mountain. Park
at the gate and you are allowed to hike, ride a horse, or a
mountain bike. Motorized vehicles are off limits. Round trip
distance to the cache and back is about 1 mile with less than 100
foot elevation gain. Enjoy the outing.
