Micro hidden in a host container on the ground. The host container is plainly visible, but not from all directions. Cache contains log only, BYOP.
This cache is located at Warren Falls on the West Branch of the Mattawamkeag River between Island Falls and Oakfield, Maine. These falls roar through here during the spring thaw and after heavy rain (they've been roaring for months now). The access is via a rugged ATV trail with many deep water holes and a lot of boulders to negotiate. Novice riders should only attempt this cache if accompanied by experienced ATVers.
This is a nice place to have a picnic lunch or dip a line for native brook trout.
The host container is about the size, but not shape, of a small loaf of bread. You might need tweezers to get the log out. Please replace the host container as found.
Congratulations parmachenee for FTF!! Glad that you thought it was worth the effort.
