Lumberjack's Fantasy Traditional Cache
goldfinch180: I could not re-find my cache. The terrain of this area has completely changed since it was hidden, and the weird gnome village has wrecked my cache. Unfortunately it is time to say goodbye.

The cache is a small grey box, sort of like a L and L. Make sure the flaps on the sides SNAP shut before you rehide. Remember that a waterproof container is useless if it's not closed! Please put back EXACTLY as it was found, and camo well. I puts some toys in the cache for people to find. The box is large enough hold some smaller travel bugs, so bring them if you have.
The cache is in Mill Pond, a nice preserve. It can get buggy near GZ so long pants are recommended. Boots are now a MUST, as the mud in the area is extensive and puddles of water have flooded into pools and will not receed. Most of the trees in the area of the cache were uprooted in a bad storm in 2009 (I think). It rained for almost a week straight and the ground was so saturated by the time the wind came through the trees toppled easily. Many trees in this preserve also came down in Hurricane Irene of August, 2011 and Hurricane Sandy in October, 2012.
Some may ask why the difficulty and terrain ratings are set so high. This area is very easy to get lost in and once you get to the general area of the cache you'll see why a small box may take a long time to locate. During the rainy season this area floods extensively and almost never dries up. Bugs are also a HUGE problem in this place, so that's really why I think the ratings should be that high.
