Ski skole - familievennlig cache med god plass for bytting. Stor muggle-fare - vær forsiktig! En enkel cache å finne men praktisk lokalisert for reisende TB-er.
Ski school. Family friendly cache with room for trading small items and for travelling coins/travel bugs. Please beware muggles and take care when retreiving the cache!
Ski skole består av en barneskole og en ungdomsskole for barn 6-12 år, midt i Ski sentrum. Skolen hadde ca. 440 elever i 2010 kontra 600-700 elever på 50- og 60-tallet. De første bygningene stod klare i 1954. Skolens eget svømmebaseng kom senere. Ski har bystatus med sine 12 000 innbygere. Byen kan skryte av fin turterreng med skog og åker som brukes til skiløyper om vinteren -midt i sentrum.
ENGLISH
Ski school is a primary and secondary school for children aged 6 to 12 years, in the city centre. The school had about 440 pupils in 2010 in contrast to 600-700 pupils in the 1950's and 1960's. The first buildings were ready in 1954. The school has it's own swimming pool that was built shortly after. Ski, with 12 000 inhabitants, has city status. The city boasts splendid terrain for walking, orienteering, fishing, mushroom picking, picking wild blueberries and more, with woods and lakes just a couple of minutes from the city centre. The picutre shows the view from the cache site, with a field that is very popular in winter, used for cross-country skiing.
CACHE'en INNEHOLDER: loggbok, blyant, bytteting (first-to-find gave er en geocaching nøkkelbånd).
CACHE CONTENTS: log book, pencil, trading items (first-to-find gift is a geocaching key lanyard).
Congratulations to henriklb on FTF -- log-book was signed but in all the excitement, not on page 1!!
