This magnetic nano is a short walk from the car park over clear even ground. It can be busy with Muggles if there is an event on at the Council rented room or if the weather is clear and picnics are in full swing
Hallorans Hill provides a beautiful panoramic view of a large part of the Atherton Tablelands including reaches of Tinaroo Dam which can be seen on a clear day. On a not so clear day you will probably only see the carpark and it can get a little windy, wet and cool in winter!
2009 saw the Q150 celebrations when the state of Queensland turned 150 years old. As part of the celebration Surveyor Falconer Hutton has been recognised as the first to survey the town of Atherton on 01.01.1885. This location is also known as a GPS Mark with the following logged on the sign S 17 16' 06.42 E 145 29' 39.21.
