Geocache Description:

This cache brings you down a road which brings back memories of when I first moved to this area in 1984. The land was for sale. I walked over the property nice and level, way before GPS and satellite views or Google Maps. I went thru the woods to a field a saw the cooling towers of the Duke Power Energy Plant. WOW no fence or any thing. I had to go home and get my camera.
Needless to say I thought twice about buying the land. Now its all fenced off and cant even go down the road, after 9-11.

The cache is located at the entrance to OLD Concord Shores. Small enough just for a log so Bring a pen. Don't forget to Dot your O's and Cross your T's.
