Located in downtown West Dundee along the Fox River.
This location is not too far from my place of work. On nice days, I like to sit here and eat my lunch.
For the past three winters (or more) there have been several bald eagles that hang out within view of this cache during the winter months (Nov - Feb). They are often perched in the large tree near the white house across the river. Sometimes they are flying between this area and the Carpentersville dam (or maybe further up stream?). In the gallery are two pictures my co-worker took in 2010. This winter (2012/3) we have seen two, an adult and a juvenile, perhaps the same as in these pictures.
