The Road to Kanman

From ancient times, this land was said to be a spiritual ground where Fudo myoo, one of the Thirteen Buddhas, can be seen.On the stone where the statue of Fudo myoo once stood, the letters “Kanman” was found carved in Sanskrit scripture. According to the legend, this carving was written by Kobo Daishi Kukai, a Japanese monk and founder of Shigon Buddhism, by throwing his brush from the opposite side of the cliff. The cache is in a 180ml Tupperware.
