Der Streckenabschnitt ist 14 km lang und insbesondere für Wildwassersportler interessant. Die Imster Schlucht gilt als eine der populärsten Wildwasserstrecken Europas für Raftingtouren. So befinden sich in den Orten Imst und Haiming einige kommerzielle Anbieter von Raftingtouren.
Schwimmen zum cache ist möglich aber extrem gefärlich.
