Bouncing Ducks Nesting in the 4th Corner Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

NagelFamOf5: After numerous times of having to replace, it is time to simply give it up as do not have the free time to keep a closer eye on it like we used to.

Geocache Description:

I'm upping the terrain to 2 due to the distance to get to it. It is on the yellow Oak path towards the back, but not all the way back there. Could possibly be a 2.5, but we'll try it here. Paths are great, wide open and pretty much flat to get to it, but due to distance, upping it a tick.

Hendricks County's newest park, Sodalis Nature Park is a great place to get away from it all and have fun geocaching at the same time.

Feel free to pick up a pamplet while visiting as it has all the trails listed, as well as other infomration on how this park got it's name as well as the wildlife that lives there.

The park has a nice little catch/release fishing lake, picnic areas, and several miles of walking trails.

When we placed this cache, Whitetail and Conservation Trails were closed, and we thought it would be fun to have a cache in the 4th corner - to cover every corner of the park! Enjoy your little walk back to this one, and grab the other 4 while visiting here too.

The cache is a nice sized ammo can full of rubber ducks and bouncing balls... thus the name my kids came up with.

NOTE: 5/7/12 The large and very filled Ammo can has indeed been stolen, so have replaced it with a 8"x8"x3" Rubbermaid container. Such a shame someone has to spoil the fun by stealing.

It is now back in place, covered up, and filled with 2 dozen bouncy balls and a dozen BREAST CANCER Survivor duckies. Please leave as you found since it is a clear plastic container, it needs to be hidden well so it doesn't get stolen yet again! :) (It was all I had on hand to use). I also added a travel bug.

4-7-13 Replaced yet again. Smaller in side and switched area by a few feet and updated coordinates. Hopefully hidden better from folks not geocaching so they won't be tempted to swipe it yet again.

Thanks for your patientce all!
