The second in a series of Remembrance caches.
This commemorates the soldiers who lost their lives in the First and Second World Wars.
Whatever you might think of armed conflict, there is a poignancy to these memorials. In particular ones like this one that have been almost forgotten.
The difficult part of finding this cache is getting to it.
It has been almost completely isolated by the widening of the highway. There is however, a way to get to it without entering or crossing the roadworks
While the cache location is available 24/7, the graffiti indicates the park may be used by less than savoury types at night. Be on guard if out of hours.
