This cache is placed near what we at Camp Baird call the "testimony meadow." After a week of earning merit badges, swimming, camping, cooking and playing, boy scouts from Camp Baird, which is just across the highway, come to this meadow to bear testimony of their belief in Jesus Christ. Many a young boy's heart has been softened in this meadow. If you stand still and ponder in this meadow, you too can feel of its power. Testimony meetings have been held in this meadow since 1992. It has been my honor and privilege to serve as the Camp Baird Camp Director twice and many other positions as well over the years. The experience has not only changed many young boys into men, but has made me a better man as well.
