New Forest Bounty Traditional Cache
Steveky4: Area now close to a designated Rare Birds breeding area. Cache had been removed by someone and all contents have gone sadly. Have messaged TB owners accordingly.

This is the first cache i have hidden. It's a pleasant walk on a forest path to the cache site, with parking less than half a mile from the cache. Bring some coins to swap with the booty!
When i set up the cache i decided it needed a 'treasure' element to make the walk worthwhile, so as well as the usual toy swaps I put in several old coins, and foreign coins!
Thought it would be fun if other cachers brought other coins to swap with the originals.
None of the coins is worth very much.
Cache is placed in accordance with Forestry Commission/GAGB guidelines - no night caching allowed in the New Forest.
Suggested parking is at Smugglers Road Car Park (N50.50.115 W001.44.018). When you walk out of the car park look right and you will see a gate about 100 yards away on the opposite side of the road. This marks the start of the path to the cache site. It's quite narrow in places and unsuitable for strollers.
Keep to the path to avoid disturbing nesting birds in spring/summer in the gorse and heather. (Kingston Great Common National Nature Reserve boundary lies approx 250 yards west). Cache is next to path. Please cover well to avoid it being seen from the path
