Easy to find with an extra bonus of a beautiful view! Enjoy the new recently completed Gull Lake Trail!
This cache is in honor of my golden retriever, Chelsea, who used to love to eat sticks ... she would have loved it here!
Chelsea's Stash is located off of Highway 158 near the Gull Lake Marina. Park in the parking lot at the Community Center and take the trail up the hill next to the Sheriff's Station. Take the path to the LEFT which are directly behind the cabins and follow the trail to the cache.
A short hike @.35 miles from the start of the trailhead and you will find yourself on the west side of Gull Lake with a beautiful view of Gull Lake and Carson Peak.
While taking the average coordinates, the readings were all over the place. Hopefully, with some geo-senses you should not have any problems in claiming your smiley face.
Log only but room for very small swag. Have fun, bring a snack or lunch and enjoy the trail.
