BENTEN-bridge
It was first time BENTEN-bridge was hanged in 1950. Before then, people used unmanned ferry using a long wire strung from the villagers. But devoted efforts to bear fruit for many years the leaders of the region, the dream came true to build a bridge. "Benten-bridge" was named by Mr. Igarashi Xiangyuan(Haiku poet).
The bridge was rebuilt in concrete from the first wooden bridge in 1968. And In 1980, it was renovated (the width was widened, painted in red).

弁天橋がこの地にはじめて架けられたのは1950（昭和25）年。それ以前の約2年間は、両岸から張られた長い針金を、手操りで渡る無人の渡し船を村びとたちは利用していました。ところが長年にわたる地域の指導者たちの献身的な努力が実を結び、架橋の夢が実現となりました。弁天橋の名付けの親は、姥ヶ山の俳人五十嵐象円氏です。
なお最初の木橋からコンクリートの橋に改築されたのは1968（同43）年で、この時も村人たちによる、弁天橋架替促進期成同盟の積極的な働きかけがありました。そして、現在の橋幅に拡幅され、名実ともに疑宝珠付き朱塗りの弁天橋に改装されたのは1980（同55）年です。
