The cache is not at the posted coordinates.

Our 11-yr old son solved a very similar puzzle in under an hour, and then wanted to turn it into a geocache.

If you have solved a number of Portland Puzzles, the characters here should look familiar.

When the 3x3 puzzle is assembled so that all of the internal characters are 'whole,' the last three digits of the latitude will be found across the top row, and the last three digits of the longitude will be found across the middle row.

Of course, it will not be obvious which direction is 'up'. If you rotate the completed puzzle so that the fewest number of digits are sideways or upside-down, you will have the correct orientation.
