Geocache Description:

Closest Town: Outing

Outing, a village in Emily Township, section 4, on the southeastern shore of Crooked Lake, was platted on November 14, 1908, and registered on January 2, 1909, by William H. Andrews as a place for "outings" or short visits of city people and sportsmen in summer.

Lake Size: 720 Acres

Public Boat Access: Located on South end of lake off State Hwy. 6 & Co. Rd. 48 (see cache page coords)

Lake Notes: Specializing in Northern Pike, Bluegill and Crappie. Large & Smallmouth Bass also caught. Maximum depth of 22 ft.

A nice shady spot to sit and enjoy the view. Go ahead, launch your boat.
