This lovely and peaceful haven in one of
Wirral’s bustling towns provides a quiet escape from everyday
life. Although the whole hill once was heath land, it is now mostly
wood but heath lands still remain near the summit. A small fenced
off area in the woodland was once an experimental bird
sanctuary.
To claim a smiley on this cache, you need to hike
up the hill, stop and enjoy the breathtaking views and carry on up
towards a ruined stone wall. In front of you, you should see a
flight of steps with a stone pillar on the top. You need to answer
the below questions using the information on the pillar to help
you. It might help taking a pen, paper and a calculator.
