This is our second cache. A lovely 2 mile circular walk just right for children and dogs. £2 coin in the cache for the FTF
This is our second cache, and can be found on a lovely 2 mile (approx) circular walk around Morgan and Quarry Coppice in the beautiful Shropshire Countryside.
The cache is accessible 24/7, but becareful of the styles, some of them do need replacing. Also watch out for bovine muggles that can occupy on of the fields on this walk.
Parking co-ordinates are:
N52 50.116
W002 36.941
Take the A53 away from Hodnet towards Shrewsbury. Take the 2nd turning on the right and opposite the West Midlands Shooting Ground, you will find a car parking space, the co-ordinates are above.
When you have parked your car, follow the tract into the woods and look for the 2nd style on your right hand side at the corner of a field frequented by sheep. Follow the footpath across the field and through the woods on the other side. At the other side of the woods, you will find two styles in front of you, take the right hand path and across a fallen tree. You will be very near the cache, so use the co-ordinates and clue to find it.
Once found, if you stay on the footpath, it will take you to a small lane with a red roofed building in front, turn right down the lane, past the Tudor Cottage and onto the main road, turn right again and it will take you back to your car. £2 in the cache for the FTF.
The cache is accessible 24/7 but not really suitable for wheelchairs. Excellent for dogs and children because it is a nice easy walk and does not take too long.
The cache is a small cache, with a log and pencil, some marbles, football cards, RNLI keyring, a little monster and 2 tb's
