The Old Church of Urquhart (around 5 miles east of Elgin) on top of its own hillock surrounded by open countryside inmidst the rolling farmland of Moray. The listed church built in 1843.

There is plenty to explore on this 'hill of crows'...stroll along the east side of the church building, enter the so called 'Church Walk' through the arch, along a little waterfall passing the ruins of the former stable, an ancient spanish chestnut tree looks after the treasure...Happy Hunting ;o)
The Old Church of Urquhart (rund 5 Meilen oestlich von Elgin) erhebt sich auf seinem eigenen Kirchenhuegel inmitten der sanften Huegel von Moray. Die denkmalgeschuetzte Kirche ist von 1843.

Es gibt jede Menge auf dem 'Kraehenhuegel' zu entdecken...im Osten am Kirchengebaeude vorbei, durch den Bogen entlang des 'Church Walk', am kleinen Wasserfall vorbei zu den Ruinen des ehemaligen Stalls haelt die spanische Kastanie den Schatz fest...Happy Hunting ;o)
