Trail head is on the Smith Dorrien Spray Trail. The hike is approximately 3 Km up with an elevation gain of 381 metres. Be warned the wind can be strong and cold. It was the day we placed this cache. Check out the local guide books and maps before you go.
There is one spot on the trail where it goes over rocks. There is a trail up and a trail straight and then down over the rocks. We started up and then looked down and saw the lower trail. After consulting our map and Guide Book "Kananaskis Country trail guide" by Gillean Daffern we realized we should probably be on the lower trail. This motivated us to place a cache on the West Wind Pass Trail just a bit beyond this junction. Find the cache and you will know you are on the right trail.
The cache is a small L&L only a little camoed. Close to the trail.
