kb10bo: It's been a good while since this cache has been found and I don't go through Roanoke very often anymore, so it's probably time to let it go. 😟

This cache is located on Main Street in downtown Roanoke, AL.
The city of Roanoke was established in 1835. It is the biggest city in Randolph County, but it is not the county seat. It is famous for the Ella Smith Indestructible Doll and more recently, in December of 1994, one of its sons, Joe Edwards, Jr., was selected by NASA as an astronaut. You will find this cache at "The Randolph County Museum". It's housed in the old Post Office building and has been open since 2000. Unless you live in the area you might just pass it by since they still don't have a sign yet. It's a "work in progress", but definitely well worth visiting. They have lots of really neat things to see. Right now they're only open on Wednesday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (Central time). Admission is free, but all donations are graciously accepted. Happy caching!!!! Congratulations to Martin FFG on yet another FTF!!!!
